Arikel smiled, a slow wolfish grin with those red red lips. His fierce yellow and red eyes gleaming in the fiery light filtered though the thin curtain of silk. "I don't expect you to understand Honor Bathazar, but your priests, are not welcome on my lands. I don't think I can make it any clearer for you than that." The grin widened, showing the sharp edge of fangs. "Take them...and your bullying guards and leave..or I'll set my hounds on you....."
This is Arikel, one of the more powerful Vampire lords in a game/book setting I have been playing with for a number of years..I actually started this piece about two years ago, but the other night I ran across it and knew how I wanted to finish it. The tattoos on his face are actually part of a language made of tattoos..that tell the people who see them what arts and powers he has mastered... Arikel~ mine |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
